We Are Expanding!

I am so excited to tell you that we are expanding our Sweet Cream Dachshunds dams! My family moved a couple months ago to a house on 1 acre and our new neighbors are fantastic! My next-door neighbor Bethany and her kids recently lost their mini dachshund right before we moved in, and she has always wanted to raise dachshunds…

…Fast forward to 8 weeks after she decided to get 2 dachshunds for her girls. Yesterday she flew to Florida (and back to Arizona in the same day – that is true commitment!) to pick up Honey and Tootsie, her two 8 week old miniature long-haired cream dachshunds, from Emerald Coast Doxies (same breeder as Rhiannon). She is a nurse, and will bring wonderful skills to Sweet Cream Dachshunds. I will be there every step of the way, too.

She will be breeding them (around 1.5 years old, or 2nd heat) with our Remington. We will be posting photos here and on our Facebook page.

Honey is a light cream dachshund with hidden dapple (her nose is the only place it shows). She is very sweet and so happy to have her sister with her.

Tootsie is a light chocolate cream dapple with gorgeous green eyes.

I am in the process of having Remington tested to make sure he carries no Merle (dapple) so he can be safely bred with these two beautiful girls.
