Long Hair Cream Dachshunds:
When we started specializing in long haired miniature cream dachshunds, we bred our Chloe to Preston (who we did not own). We were hoping our own sire, Remington (Chloe’s grandson) would be bred with Rhiannon, but we have since found out he cannot sire puppies and so he has been neutered for his health, but remains part of our family. In the future we will be using Chloe’s great grandson, Maverick (below), to be our sire with Chelina and Madison.
CURRENT SIRE:
If we can find an available sire next time Rhiannon goes into heat, we will try to breed her one more time before having her spade. (She cannot be bred with Maverick, as he is her son.)
PAST SIRES:
Ace (left) with his full littermate Remington (right) taken late May 2023. Ace has a great personality and looks just like both Grandma Chloe and brother Remington! He was able to sire one litter for us with Rhiannon, but he is no longer available. We will be waiting for Maverick to be old enough to sire with Chelina first, then with Madison later.
Remington is such a wonderful boy with a fantastic personality.
PRESTON: Preston is a very handsome and happy AKC registered shaded cream miniature dachshund male that lives with a wonderful family in our city. He has a fantastic temperament, and he weighs about 9.5 pounds.
