Dams

Long Haired Cream Dachshunds:

Since we have started specializing in Cream dachshunds, we have tried to use one dog in each pairing from Chloe’s line.  We will only breed our dams a few times; we carefully evaluate the ease of pregnancy, delivery, and the attention our moms give to their puppies before deciding whether to breed them again.  We will only breed healthy and happy moms!  That is why we made the hard choice to retire Chloe after only two litters.  She is happily enjoying being a part of our family.

PRESENT DAM: Chelina only had 1 pup in her litter via c-section and is now spayed.

She came to us as an adult, and has been a wonderful addition to our family! She was born 2/23/2021 and is a shaded cream with barely any shading showing. Chelina is a very happy and loving dog; she loves to sleep right next to my head in our bed.

FUTURE DAM:  Madison will be a future dam. She is a few days older than Maverick (Chloe’s great grandson) and they will be bred in a couple years.

PAST DAM: Chloe has been retired due to difficulty with her final litter.   Her will being and health is more important to us than her having more puppies!

PAST DAM: Rhiannon came from Florida and is an AKC registered shaded cream long-haired miniature dachshund, but she carries for ee cream, shaded cream, black-and-cream and chocolate cream!

She is a sweet and playful girl with the softest fur I have ever encountered!

Shaded creams start dark (see the 1 week old photo below), but she lightened considerably over the first 6 months. The photos of her before 8 weeks old are courtesy of Emerald Coast Doxies.
